Dr. Wyatt has been treating people with various sexual disorders and addictions for years utilizing both traditional talk-therapy and other alternative therapy models. Now she uses the “process model” learned from intensive education and certification training offered by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals with specialized training by Dr. Patrick Carnes and Dr. Ken Adams, two of the leading experts in sexual addictions. Men’s Sex Addiction Groups
Dr. Wyatt has been hosting a sex addiction group for men for the past several years. These groups generally consist of not more than seven men and focus on identification, treatment, accountability, and aftercare. Call 405.232.1000.
Women’s Love Addiction Groups
Dr. Wyatt is starting her first women’s sex addict group in 2013. Like the successful men’s groups, Dr. Wyatt will address issues unique to female sex addicts. Groups will be limited to not more than seven women, where issues of identification of the problem, treatment, accountability, and aftercare will be applied. Call 405.232.1000.
Partner’s of Sex Addicts Groups
Dr. Wyatt is starting a group session program for partners of sex addicts. For years, programs have been available for treatment of sex addicts, but there are few programs or groups available for their spouses or partners. Dr. Wyatt examines both the addict and “family” in her practice. Dr. Wyatt wants to educate partners and spouses and help them heal with the trauma of betrayal, cope with the addict-partner, and hold the partner/spouse accountable.
